Designed for

Who it's for

Crosspoint is designed for university students in their penultimate or final year, recent graduates, and early career professionals typically within their first three years of working. But more than demographics — we're looking for people who are serious about building a career, curious about their field, and willing to invest genuine effort in a structured programme. You don't need to be naturally outgoing or have the most impressive résumé. You need to show up, engage thoughtfully, and commit to follow-through.

What you do

Week by week

01

Onboarding

Weeks 1–2

You'll meet your cohort, understand the shared code of conduct, and learn how the programme works. This phase sets expectations and introduces everyone to the structure. We'll cover how to show up professionally, what follow-through looks like, and how to make the most of these 10 weeks. Mentors introduce themselves and share what they're looking for in meaningful professional relationships.

02

Foundations

Weeks 3–4

Practical skills development. We cover career clarity, how to ask good questions, how to listen actively, and how to follow up thoughtfully. Mentors share their career journeys and what's shaped their thinking. You'll develop clarity on what you're looking for from this programme and what you want to explore professionally over these 10 weeks.

03

Introductions

Weeks 5–6

Curated introductions between peers and mentors begin. Each introduction is intentional, matched on background, goals, and potential fit. Sessions bring the cohort together in structured formats — small group conversations, one-on-ones, and mentor-led Q&As. You're building your network, not just collecting contacts.

04

Deepening

Weeks 7–8

Follow-up conversations with peers and mentors. Real relationships start to form. You move from introductions to genuine professional depth. Cohort accountability keeps momentum going — you're not just checking a box, you're investing in real relationships. Sessions focus on how to navigate these conversations, how to ask for help, and how to give back.

05

Opportunity & Wrap

Weeks 9–10

The final phase focuses on locking in what you've built. You'll plan next steps with the people you've connected with. We discuss how to maintain these relationships after the programme and what opportunities are emerging. Final cohort session celebrates what was created and looks forward to how these relationships will continue to shape your career.

What you leave with

Outcomes that matter

Genuine professional relationships

Not contacts — people who know you, remember you, and are open to continuing the conversation beyond the programme.

Mentor access and introductions

Direct conversations with credible professionals who are present and engaged. And introductions to others in their networks.

Career clarity and direction

A clearer sense of where you want to go, shaped by real conversations rather than guesswork or online research.

Practical networking skills

How to show up professionally, how to follow up thoughtfully, and how to continue building and maintaining professional relationships beyond Crosspoint.

Schedule

Time commitment

Expect to commit roughly two to three hours per week across the 10-week programme. This includes the weekly session plus short follow-up activities between sessions. Sessions are scheduled for the same time each week so you can plan around it. Attendance is expected — missed sessions affect the cohort dynamic, not just you. We ask for a genuine commitment before you apply. If you're not sure you can make the time, let's talk — the worst thing is to join and not be fully present.

Selection

Cohort size & selection

We keep cohorts small — 10 to 15 people — because that's where genuine relationships form. A room of 500 is too big to be known. A cohort of 12 is the right size for real accountability and depth. We review each application on a combination of factors: your goals, your background, your field of interest, and how you'd fit within the cohort. We're not looking for the highest-achieving candidates. We're looking for people who are ready to show up genuinely and commit to follow-through. Selection decisions are communicated within two weeks of the application close date. If you're selected, congratulations. If you're not, we'll encourage you to apply to the next cohort.

Cost

Pricing

Pricing will be announced ahead of our first cohort. Scholarship places may be available for participants who would otherwise face financial barriers to joining. We believe great professional relationships shouldn't be gatekept by money. We're committed to making Crosspoint accessible. Full pricing details and scholarship information will be shared during the application process.

Impact

How we measure whether it works

We measure success differently than traditional networking events. It's not about how many business cards were collected. It's about: Did you show up consistently? Did you make meaningful introductions? Did you follow through on conversations? We collect feedback through surveys and follow-up conversations with alumni. We look at attendance rates, the quality of introductions made, follow-up meetings that happened, and outcomes stories from participants. We want to know if Crosspoint actually produced relationships that lasted — not just for the 10 weeks, but beyond. The goal is real, lasting professional relationships that shape careers.
