What happens to what you tell us

If you have just written something honest into one of our forms, about where you are stuck or where you would like to be, you should know exactly where it goes. Here it is, in plain English.

Who collects it

Crosspoint Collective collects your information. For any question about this policy, or about what we hold on you, email info@crosspointcollective.com.au.

What we collect

Three forms collect information: the application, the enquiry form and the waitlist. Between them, they ask for your name and contact details, what you are studying or doing, an optional link to a professional profile, and your written answers about where you are and where you would like to be. The waitlist asks only for your first name and email address. Every form asks you to confirm you are happy for us to hold what you send.

Why we collect it

We use your application to decide whether to offer you a place, and to give a conversation with Jack somewhere real to start. We use enquiries to answer you properly. We use the waitlist only to email you once, when the next cohort opens. Nothing you send is used for anything else, and applying or enquiring does not put you on any list.

Who sees it

Jack is the only person who reads what you send. We do not sell your information, and we do not disclose it to mentors, partners or anyone outside Crosspoint.

Where it goes

All three forms run on Netlify Forms. Netlify hosts this website, stores a copy of what you send, and forwards it to info@crosspointcollective.com.au. Netlify is a United States company, so your information may be stored on servers outside Australia.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no cookie banner.

How long we keep it

We keep an application while we are considering it, and for twelve months afterwards. If you join a cohort, we keep it while you are involved with Crosspoint and for twelve months after that. We keep enquiries for twelve months. We keep waitlist details until we have told you the next cohort has opened, or until you ask to come off, whichever comes first. If you would rather we deleted something sooner, ask and we will.

Access, correction and deletion

Email info@crosspointcollective.com.au and say which you want: a copy of everything we hold about you, a correction, or deletion of the lot. We will respond within thirty days, usually sooner. One thing worth knowing first: deleting an application withdraws it, so we can no longer consider it. That is the only catch, and it will never be held against you if you apply again later.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it

Tell us first, at info@crosspointcollective.com.au, and we will try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Any question about any of this, including the ones you think are too small to bother us with, goes to info@crosspointcollective.com.au. A real person reads it.
